Project Workbook & Budget Tracker

Regular price $6.00

If you're looking for a RAID log to use on your projects, this is the one I've used for years. It's RAID++ as it includes a whole host of extra tabs in the spreadsheet so you can use one file for all your project tracking.

Everything you need to start tracking your project today. This product includes two spreadsheets. One Excel spreadsheet made up of:

  • High level project schedule/plan
  • Action Log
  • Change Log
  • Decision Log
  • Dependencies Log
  • Issues Log
  • Risk Log
  • Milestone Tracker
  • Communications Calendar
  • Project Contacts List

Plus a separate Excel spreadsheet for managing your project budget, with worksheets enabling you to track budgeted and actual project costs, purchase orders and invoices.

You also get a 5-page guide to using RAID logs on your project which includes a bonus 20-minute video interview. This will help you understand the principles behind why you should track these things on your project and explain how and when to update your RAID log.

This is a downloadable .zip file.

All the ebooks, templates, checklists and bundles are digital files.

I'm unable to provide technical help, due to the variation between different IT systems.

Training courses are provided via the Teachery platform. You will get an email with your login details. If you do not receive them, please get in touch and let me know - I will make sure you have access to the course materials.

Here are some instructions that may help you access the ebook and template files if you are having trouble.

Are you trying to download on a mobile device like a phone or iPad? Most mobile devices will not let you open a .zip file, or download via a link. Please try to access the files via a desktop/laptop computer.

How to unzip a .zip file:
Zip files are compressed files, so they take up less space when they are being saved and transfered. In order to access the templates inside, you need to unzip the file.
On a laptop or desktop computer:
  • Save the file to your computer.
  • Right click
  • Choose 'Extract all'
  • Select a destination for your files (Browse to where you want them to be saved)
  • Click Extract
  • Navigate to where you saved the files to open them.

If you want to access the files on your mobile device, you can add them to iCloud or Dropbox so they are shared across your devices.

How to read a PDF file:

Your computer may already have Adobe Reader installed on it (most do). On an iPad, you can open a PDF file in iBooks.

If you don't have software on your device that can read a PDF file, pleaase install one. Adobe Reader is the most common software (it's free).

Download it here.

How to find your files:

This has happened to me multiple times: I download something and then can't find it on my computer! Check the Downloads folder (under My Computer). Or use Explorer to search for the name of the file you just downloaded. Sometimes you can also see the file in your browser download history.

Read the terms and licensing related to how you can use the templates and files.

Girls Guide To PM is my secret weapon at work, it helps me be efficient and organised and I've received many positive comments, particularly on the budget planner which I have further adapted to suit our needs. Great tool kit

It's great but love to have more Budget part to be explained!

It's great but would love to have more into budget part in it. As I'm not familiar with finance / cost but I love to learn more into cost budgeting.

Thanks - that's very helpful feedback. I will look at what I can put together to help project managers learn more about budgeting in general.
